Chrissy Cammarata, Ph.D.

Dr. Chrissy Cammarata is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Cammarata specializes in
therapy for OCD and anxiety spectrum disorders, including body-focused repetitive
behaviors (BFRB’s) like skin picking and hairpulling, and eating disorders. She works
with children, teens, and adults. Dr. Cammarata also enjoys working with young people
who are selective or “picky” eaters, or have eating related phobias such as fear of
vomiting. She is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology.


Dr. Cammarata grew up in Michigan and earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from
Central Michigan University. In addition to completing her fellowship at University of
Florida's Center for OCD and Anxiety Related Disorders, she completed additional
training through IOCDF's Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). Dr. Cammarata
has developed expertise in anxiety related concerns across the lifespan for over 15
years. Additionally, she worked for 9 years as a pediatric psychologist at Nemours
Children’s Hospital and during that time, developed and directed the Youth Mood and
Anxiety Program and worked with adolescent medicine’s eating disorders program. Dr.
Cammarata is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), Academy of
Eating Disorders (AED), Anxiety and Depression Association of America, (ADAA),
International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). Dr. Cammarata is licensed in Delaware and is
able to provide telehealth services to families located in any of the 42 Psypact states,
including PA, NJ, and MD.


In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 boys, collecting
pictures of cats that she would adopt if her son wasn’t allergic.
