Beth Higley, Ph.D.

Dr. Higley is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides therapy and evaluation
services to children, adolescents, and families. She offers therapy for a range of
developmental and behavioral/emotional concerns including anxiety, depression,
ADHD, executive function weaknesses, learning disabilities, adjustment to life
stressors, parent-child relationships, and foster care/adoption issues. Dr. Higley
works collaboratively with her clients. Her approach is guided by an understanding
of neurobiology and emotion-focused practices.


Dr. Higley conducts psychoeducational evaluations with children and adolescents
assessing ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavioral/emotional concerns.


Dr. Higley received her BA from Boston College and her MA and PhD from the
University of Delaware. She completed her internship at the Delaware Division of
Prevention and Behavioral Health Services. In addition to her work in private
practice, Dr. Higley is the lower school consulting psychologist at Wilmington
Friends School and the developmental examiner for maternal-fetal medicine clinical
trials at Christiana Care.
